Sometimes a new beginning starts when you least expect it.
For us, it started with a phone call between two longtime friends.
It Started With a Phone Call
After being laid off herself in 2025, Kelli knew how unsettling it could feel to suddenly find yourself wondering what comes next.
So when she saw that her longtime friend Andi had recently experienced the same thing, she picked up the phone—not with a business plan, but simply to offer encouragement and remind her that she wasn't alone.
From an Idea to a Purpose
Kelli and Andi first met while working together years ago, and their friendship has continued through many seasons of life.
So when Andi suggested they get together and brainstorm ideas for something they could build together, she came over the following Monday—and somewhere between the conversation, the ideas and probably a few laughs, a T-shirt business entered the picture.
Kelli had run a small T-shirt business from home years earlier, so she knew enough to know that this time, they wanted to do things differently. They didn't want to simply make whatever shirt someone requested. They wanted to take their time, find a purpose and create a brand they truly believed in.
Finding the Heart of Elevate Hope
As they talked about life's unexpected turns, the challenges women face at every age and stage of life, and the importance of continuing to believe that something good can still be ahead, their purpose became clear.
They wanted to create something that would encourage women to keep going.
And Elevate Hope Apparel was born.
What Hope Means to Us
Our designs are rooted in hope, faith, strength, grace and light—but you don't have to define those things exactly the way we do.
Faith can mean trusting in God. It can mean believing in yourself. It can mean believing in the people who love you, trusting that difficult seasons will pass, or simply finding enough courage to take the next step.
What matters to us is the message.
Why We Wear the Message
We want you to put on an Elevate Hope shirt and think, “I needed this today.”
But we hope it doesn't stop there.
Maybe someone passes you at the grocery store and reads Shine Anyway. Maybe a woman standing behind you in line sees Choose Hope. Maybe someone having a difficult day notices the message you're wearing—and for just a moment, it reminds her to keep going.
That's what Wear Hope. Share Light. means to us.
One message can encourage one person.
That person can encourage another.
And little by little, hope travels.
Meet Kelli & Andi
Two friends. Two personalities. One shared purpose.
Andi is the dreamer. Kelli is the realist. One is usually dreaming up what Elevate Hope could become next while the other is saying, “Baby steps, girlfriend.”
After years of friendship, we're building something of our own—combining creativity, encouragement and a shared belief that sometimes the smallest message can make someone's day a little brighter.
We balance each other. We trust each other. And most importantly, we're having a whole lot of fun building something we believe in.
